4 medium-sized Yukon Gold potatoes washed and quartered
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Heat your air fryer to 400°F 200°C.
In a big bowl, stir together olive oil garlic powder onion powder oregano thyme paprika salt and pepper.
Toss the quartered potatoes in the seasoning mixture to coat well.
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the potatoes are evenly covered.
Spread the potatoes inside the air fryer basket in one layer making sure there is space for air to circulate.
Cook the potatoes for 15 to 20 minutes shaking the basket in the middle to brown them evenly until crispy and golden.
Transfer the cooked potatoes to a serving plate.
If you like, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley on top before serving. Serve hot as a tasty side or snack.
Notes
Yukon Gold potatoes work best for creamy texture but russet or red potatoes are good substitutes
Soaking the potato quarters in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning can help achieve extra crispiness by removing starch
Seasonings can be adjusted to taste by increasing garlic or paprika
These potatoes go well with garlic aioli or sour cream dips
