Ingredients

Scale
  • one 2– to 3-pound fully cooked quarter-cut spiral-cut ham
  • 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions

  1. Let the ham sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes after removing it from the refrigerator.
  2. Combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, ground cinnamon, chili powder, and ground allspice in a small bowl.
  3. Prepare two 20 inch sheets of heavy-duty foil, place them overlapped perpendicularly, then place the ham skin-side up in the center.
  4. Pour the sugar mixture evenly over the ham making sure it is fully coated, then wrap and seal the foil tightly around the ham.
  5. Place the wrapped ham in a 6-quart air fryer and cook at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes.
  6. Carefully open the foil, baste the ham generously with the collected juices, then cook uncovered for another 20 minutes until the ham begins to brown and slices start to separate.
  7. Baste again and continue cooking for 10 more minutes until the top is dark and shiny and an instant-read thermometer reads 140 degrees F.
  8. Transfer the ham to a serving platter and pour the juices into a small saucepan.
  9. Let the ham rest for 10 minutes while simmering the juices over medium-low heat until syrupy, about 10 minutes.
  10. Drizzle the sauce over the ham and serve warm or at room temperature.
