Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower offers a crispy and flavorful snack that’s perfect for game day or a quick healthy treat. This plant-based recipe features crunchy cauliflower tossed in spicy buffalo sauce, made easily in minutes using an air fryer.

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 cup buffalo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Chop the cauliflower into evenly sized bite pieces for consistent cooking.
  2. In a bowl, blend flour water garlic powder onion powder smoked paprika salt and black pepper until you get a smooth batter that can coat cauliflower.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter making sure it is well covered then gently shake off extra batter.
  4. Warm the air fryer to 375°F 190°C and lightly spray the basket to prevent sticking.
  5. Lay the coated florets in one layer inside the basket cook for 12 to 15 minutes shaking once halfway so they get golden and crispy.
  6. Mix melted butter into the buffalo sauce in a small bowl while cooking.
  7. After air frying transfer cauliflower to a large bowl then pour buffalo sauce over and toss well so every piece is coated.
  8. Serve right away with your preferred dipping sauces such as ranch or blue cheese along with celery sticks.

  • Cut the cauliflower into similar sized pieces to ensure they cook evenly
  • Adjust the buffalo sauce quantity depending on how spicy you like it and blend with more butter if you prefer a milder taste
