Chicken Breasts 2 large boneless and skinless
Breadcrumbs 1 cup preferably Italian seasoned
Parmesan Cheese 1/2 cup grated
Marinara Sauce 1 cup
Mozzarella Cheese 1 cup shredded
Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
Italian Seasoning 1 teaspoon
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Set your air fryer to 380°F and let it preheat.
Even out the thickness of each chicken breast to about 1/2 inch by pounding gently.
Create two stations; mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in one bowl, and drizzle olive oil over the chicken in another.
Press each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture so it sticks well.
Place the coated chicken in a single layer inside the air fryer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through.
Take the chicken out, spoon the marinara sauce onto each piece, and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
Put the chicken back in the air fryer for another 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese melts and bubbles.
Let the chicken rest a few minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
