Ingredients
Scale
10 chicken drumsticks
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon oil
⅓ cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 ½ teaspoons corn starch
2 cloves garlic minced
2 teaspoons fresh ginger minced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Sesame seeds
green onions
Instructions
Heat the air fryer to 400 degrees F and lightly coat the basket with oil spray.
Dry the chicken thoroughly then season it evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and oil.
Arrange the drumsticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook the chicken for 25 minutes, turning them halfway so they brown evenly.
Meanwhile, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, water, rice vinegar, corn starch, and brown sugar in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
Toss the cooked drumsticks in the honey ginger sauce until completely covered.
Serve the chicken garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
