4 chicken thighs bone in skin on
¼ cup olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
4 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cracked pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
parsley and lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
Use a paper towel to thoroughly dry the chicken thighs.
In a small bowl, mix olive oil honey garlic lemon juice paprika salt pepper and onion powder until well combined then either brush the mixture onto the chicken or toss the chicken in the bowl with the mixture to coat evenly.
Spray the air fryer basket lightly with nonstick spray then arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer.
Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes turning once halfway through until an internal thermometer reaches 165 degrees.
Garnish with parsley and add fresh lemon juice to taste before serving.
Notes
Turn the chicken halfway through cooking to ensure even browning
If the skin starts to darken too much near the end of cooking flip again to prevent burning
You can season the chicken and cook immediately or refrigerate it for up to 12 hours to deepen the flavor
