Quick and easy air fryer nachos full of seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and melted cheese. Perfect for air fryer fun recipes and easy air fryer meals for two. This recipe is one of the most popular air fryer recipes and great for parties or weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (10-12 ounces) tortilla chips (thick-cut recommended)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (15 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeño slices
  • plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Optional toppings: sour cream
  • guacamole
  • salsa
  • pico de gallo

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Spread half of the tortilla chips on a baking sheet or air fryer-safe dish. Layer with refried beans, cooked beef, half of the cheeses, jalapeños, and onion. Add remaining chips and repeat layers.
  4. Transfer to the air fryer and cook for 10-15 minutes until cheese melts and chips are crispy.
  5. Remove and top with fresh cilantro and desired optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and pico de gallo. Serve immediately.
