  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • 1 package of cheese-filled ravioli
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion looks clear.
  4. Add the marinara sauce to the beef mixture and mix well. Allow to simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  5. Cook the cheese-filled ravioli as directed on the package, then drain.
  6. Spread a thin layer of the beef sauce in a greased baking dish.
  7. Arrange a layer of cooked ravioli over the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly on the ravioli.
  9. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until cheese bubbles and browns.
  12. Let the casserole rest a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For crisp tops, broil 2–3 minutes at the end
