Ingredients
Scale
2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
1/3 cup buffalo sauce
1 tablespoon butter melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese or ranch dressing
1/2 cup celery diced
1/4 cup red onion diced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
1 head butter lettuce or romaine separated into leaves
Instructions
Warm the buffalo sauce, melted butter, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper together in a medium saucepan over low heat until well combined.
Mix in the shredded chicken ensuring it is completely coated with the sauce, then cook gently for 2 to 3 minutes to blend flavors.
Remove the pan from heat and allow the chicken mixture to cool slightly to avoid soggy lettuce.
Place lettuce leaves flat and distribute 2 to 3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto each leaf.
Garnish with diced celery, red onion, crumbled blue cheese, and sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
Carefully wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately for a handheld meal.
Notes
Lettuce Choice: Opt for sturdy varieties like butter lettuce romaine or iceberg to prevent tearing
Letting the chicken cool slightly helps prevent the lettuce from wilting
