- 1 pound smoked sausage halal-certified no pork
- 4 cups baby potatoes halved or quartered
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix make sure it’s halal-certified
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or a mix of your favorite cheeses
- 1/2 cup sour cream optional for serving
- Fresh parsley chopped optional for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the baby potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Spread the potatoes evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Add the sliced sausage over the potatoes and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes until the potatoes are tender and sausage is heated.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Return to oven for 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot topped with sour cream and fresh parsley if desired.
