A creamy and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken, crispy bacon, and a flavorful ranch sauce perfect for a hearty meal any day of the week.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 strips bacon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta Rotini recommended
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy then drain and crumble.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt pepper onion powder and Italian seasoning then cook in the skillet until browned and cooked through.
  3. Cook pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  4. Melt butter in a saucepan then whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in half and half and cook until thickened.
  6. Stir in garlic ranch seasoning and cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Combine pasta chicken bacon and sauce then toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • For extra flavor add fresh chives or parsley as a garnish
  • Use gluten-free pasta to make it gluten free
