  • 1 Tablespoon Avocado or Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 pound Chicken Breast cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 Tablespoon Chili Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons (30g) Chili Garlic Sauce plus 1 Tablespoon (21g) Honey for glazing

Instructions

  1. Coat the broccoli with oil and then season it evenly with salt pepper and garlic powder.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces in chili oil and sprinkle with ground ginger stirring until all pieces are coated well.
  3. If your air fryer supports multiple racks place broccoli on one rack and chicken on the other then air fry at 400ºF for about 4 to 5 minutes until chicken reaches 150ºF to 160ºF.
  4. Brush the chicken with the mixed chili garlic sauce and honey then continue air frying for 2 more minutes at 400ºF to caramelize the glaze and cook chicken fully to 165ºF.
  5. For a single basket air fryer cook broccoli alone at 400ºF for 5 to 6 minutes then set aside and cook chicken separately.
  6. Reheat broccoli briefly if desired then serve garnished with toasted sesame seeds alongside rice or cauliflower rice and extra sauce if preferred.
