Creamy Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs is a simple one pan chicken recipe perfect for an easy dinner. This weeknight meal is full of vibrant garlic flavors, ideal for family dinner occasions and quick cooking needs.
Dry the chicken then toss it with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, and dried parsley before marinating in the fridge for at least an hour.
Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet and brown the chicken skin-side down in batches until golden, then flip and cook briefly before removing to a plate.
Cook the garlic cloves in the skillet until softened and lightly browned, about 2-3 minutes.
Pour chicken broth into the skillet and scrape the bottom to loosen browned bits, simmer for a couple of minutes. Then stir in cream and lemon juice and bring to a gentle boil before mixing in the capers.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken reaches 165°F internally.
Serve the chicken topped with creamy lemon garlic caper sauce alongside your favorite sides.
