Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings with Dry Rub are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional fried wings, offering a perfect crunch and a burst of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Chicken Wings 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs)
  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Onion Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne Pepper 1/2 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken wings by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
  2. Make the dry rub by combining paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Season the wings by tossing them with olive oil and then coating them with the dry rub mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Cook the wings in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Check for doneness; the wings should be golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  7. Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, ensure wings are thoroughly dried before seasoning
  • Cooking in batches may be necessary if your air fryer is small
  • Feel free to customize the dry rub to suit your taste preferences
