A delicious and crispy chicken Caesar sandwich combining tender breaded chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, fresh romaine, and melted Parmesan on a toasted baguette for an ultimate flavor experience.

  • 3 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 12 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 5 chicken cutlets

  • Oil for frying
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup panko crumbs
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 romaine hearts chopped
  • 12 French baguettes
  • Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare Caesar dressing by mixing mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Parmesan, minced garlic, black pepper, and sea salt.
  2. Season chicken cutlets with salt and black pepper.
  3. Prepare flour mixture with flour, salt, and smoked paprika.
  4. Beat eggs with salt for egg mixture.
  5. Combine panko, breadcrumbs, dried parsley, black pepper, sea salt, oregano, garlic powder, and Parmesan for breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Dredge chicken in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  7. Heat oil and fry chicken until golden and cooked through.
  8. Toast baguette slices.
  9. Assemble sandwich by spreading Caesar dressing on bread, adding chopped romaine, crispy chicken, and additional Parmesan cheese.
  10. Serve immediately.

  • For extra crispiness, double-dip the chicken in the egg and breadcrumb mixtures
  • Use fresh romaine for crunch
