Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet seasoned with salt pepper and garlic powder then drain the excess fat.
  2. Combine the cooked beef the cheeses pickles mayonnaise ketchup mustard and pickle juice in the crockpot and mix well.
  3. Set the crockpot to low heat and cook for 2 to 3 hours stirring now and then.
  4. When the cheeses are melted and the mixture is creamy lower the heat to warm and serve directly from the slow cooker.
  5. For extra garnish sprinkle sesame seeds shredded lettuce or additional pickles before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with tortilla chips slider buns or pickle slices
  • Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated overnight then reheated in the crockpot
  • Add bacon jalapeños or onions to customize the flavor
