You know those recipes with 43 steps and a spiralizer you’ve never used? Yeah, this isn’t one of those. This lemonade is easy, breezy, and basically foolproof. Let’s do this.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water (filtered is best)
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags (or 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 12 tablespoons raw honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste) Ice (lots!)
  • Optional: mint leaves, cucumber slices, chia seeds, or rose water

Instructions

  1. Brew the Tea Like a Boss
Boil 1 cup of water and steep your hibiscus tea bags (or loose leaves in a strainer) for about 5–7 minutes. You want it strong and vibrant. Let it cool — pop it in the fridge if you’re impatient like me.
  2. Squeeze the Day
Juice your lemons into a bowl or cup. Pro tip: Fish out the seeds so no one ends up making that face.

  3. Sweeten Things Up
In a pitcher, combine the brewed hibiscus tea, lemon juice, and your honey or maple syrup. Stir until it’s all happily blended.
  1. Add Water & Chill (Literally)
Pour in the remaining cup of water (cold, please), and mix. Now it’s lemonade time. Add ice, garnish with whatever makes you feel like a wellness goddess, and sip!
