A tangy and savory dill pickle bread that is easy to bake, perfect for sandwiches or as a flavorful snack. This bread combines the crunch of pickles with a soft, moist texture.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, pickle juice, eggs, and milk.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients, then fold in chopped dill pickles.
  5. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some shredded cheddar cheese or chopped fresh dill
  • Serve with butter or cream cheese
