Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces while peeling and deveining the shrimp and slicing the chicken sausage into rounds.
  2. Warm a large skillet over medium heat and add the sausage slices. Cook them until they are browned and crisp which takes about 4 to 5 minutes. Then take them out and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, pour in olive oil and toss in minced garlic. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the aroma develops. Add shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside with the sausage.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and sprinkle smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook between 8 to 10 minutes until cabbage is tender yet still has a bit of crunch.
  5. Put back the cooked sausage and shrimp into the skillet with the cabbage. Gently mix everything and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes to warm all ingredients.
  6. Dish out while hot and optionally garnish with fresh parsley.
