A delicious and easy gourmet dinner combining the flavors of garlic butter shrimp scampi with creamy lasagna, perfect for seafood lovers seeking a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound of large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter over medium heat, add shrimp and 4 cloves garlic and cook until shrimp turns pink.
  4. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Gradually whisk in milk, cook until sauce thickens.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  8. Layer lasagna noodles, sauce, shrimp, mozzarella cheese, and parsley in a baking dish.
  9. Repeat layers and finish with cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  11. Garnish with additional parsley and lemon juice before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for best flavor
  • Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving to set properly
