A quick and healthy garlic ginger bok choy recipe that is perfect for any meal. Easy to prepare and packed with flavor, this dish highlights tender bok choy sautéed with fresh garlic and ginger.

  • 20 ounces (575 grams) bok choy
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Slice the bok choy in half or quarters and rinse under running water to remove dirt. Shake off excess water.
  2. Chop the stalks and leaves separately into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat, add ginger and garlic, and fry for 30 seconds.
  4. Add bok choy stalks and half the salt, stir and cook for about 5 minutes until soft.
  5. Add bok choy leaves and remaining salt, cook for 1-2 minutes until leaves are tender and bright green.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of soy sauce or a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving
