Description

This Heirloom Tomato Salad, inspired by cherished farmhouse memories, brings the vibrant essence of the season to your table.
Fresh, flavorful, and naturally colorful, it celebrates sun-ripened tomatoes in their most authentic form.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds heirloom tomatoes sliced; use a mix of colors
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves roughly torn
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt plus more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper plus more to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper until emulsified.
  2. Add sliced heirloom tomatoes, halved cherry tomatoes, red onion, basil, mint, and oregano. Gently toss to coat.
  3. Let the salad marinate at room temperature for 15–20 minutes. Toss again before serving. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

  • Optional add-ins: burrata, sliced avocado, or arugula. Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers up to 3 days in the fridge. Do not freeze.
