4 chicken breasts boneless skinless 1 cup bread crumbs 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 2 large eggs 1/4 cup milk 2 cloves garlic minced 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a shallow bowl combine bread crumbs Parmesan cheese garlic Italian seasoning salt and black pepper.
In another bowl whisk eggs and milk.
Dredge chicken breasts in flour then dip in egg mixture and coat with bread crumb mixture.
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Transfer to baking dish top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted.
Notes
For extra crispiness use panko bread crumbs and let chicken rest after baking for juicier results
