  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (divided)
  • 8 ounces white cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  2. Spread the frozen fries evenly on a baking sheet or in an air fryer basket and cook until they turn golden brown following package guidelines.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then whisk in the flour and cook for approximately 2 minutes to form a roux.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps, then add salt, white pepper, ranch seasoning powder, and half of the cayenne powder.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the mixture for 5 minutes until it thickens, then stir in the shredded white cheddar cheese until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Drizzle the cheese sauce over the hot fries, sprinkle with the remaining cayenne powder if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes
