This Marry Me Shrimp Pasta combines tender shrimp with a creamy, flavorful sauce over your favorite pasta for a quick and impressive dinner the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp
  • peeled and deveined
    8 ounces of pasta—choose spaghetti
  • fettuccine
  • or your favorite type.
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    4 cloves garlic
  • minced
    1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
    1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Fresh basil or parsley
  • chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh shrimp for best flavor
