This homemade peach lemonade is the ultimate summer drink—bright, sweet, and refreshingly tart with real peaches, lemons, and just a hint of cozy charm. Whether you’re chilling on the porch or hosting Sunday brunch, this lemonade tastes like sunshine in every sip.

Ingredients

  • 🍑 Fresh Ripe Peaches ➤ Use 3–4 medium peaches, peeled and sliced – for juicy, sweet flavor
  • 🍋 Fresh Lemons ➤ About 5–6 lemons to make ¾ to 1 cup of lemon juice – for that tart, citrusy zing
  • 💧 Cold Water ➤ 5–6 cups to balance the peach and lemon – helps keep it refreshing 🍯 Sugar or Honey ➤ ½ to ¾ cup – adjust to your taste for sweetness
  • 🌿 Optional: Fresh Herbs (Mint, Basil, Thyme) ➤ Adds a fresh, aromatic twist
  • ❄️ Ice Cubes ➤ Essential for serving it crisp and cold
  • 🥂 Optional Add-in: Vodka, Rosé, or Sparkling Water ➤ For a fun adult version or fizzy finish

Instructions

  1. Prep the peaches: Peel and slice 3–4 ripe peaches.
  2. Simmer the syrup: Combine peaches with 1 cup water and ½ cup sugar or honey in a saucepan. Simmer until soft (10–12 min).
  3. Strain it: Use a mesh strainer to separate the liquid syrup from peach solids.
  4. Juice the lemons: Squeeze 5–6 lemons until you get about 1 cup of fresh juice.
  5. Mix it up: In a large pitcher, combine the peach syrup, lemon juice, and 4–5 cups cold water.
  6. Taste & adjust: Add more sweetener or lemon if needed. Optional: toss in fresh mint or basil.
  7. Chill & serve: Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices or peach wedges.

Notes

  • Use white peaches for a milder, pink-hued lemonade.
  • Add sparkling water just before serving for a fizzy twist.
  • Make it boozy with a splash of vodka, rum, or rosé.
  • Infuse herbs like thyme, mint, or basil for an herbal summer vibe.
  • Try peach nectar instead of syrup for a shortcut version.
