  • 3 pounds sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil you may need more
  • 1 small sweet onion thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • 1 cup unsalted beef stock
  • 1 ounce packet au jus gravy mix
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cut sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces and season with kosher salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak pieces until browned on all sides.
  3. Place seared steak in the slow cooker and add thinly sliced sweet onion and garlic.
  4. Pour in unsalted beef stock and sprinkle au jus gravy mix over the top.
  5. Add thinly sliced unsalted butter on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours until steak is tender and flavorful.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your protein-packed meal.
