2 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 ½ pounds chicken wing sections
⅓ cup honey
⅓ cup sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
¼ teaspoon sesame oil
1 pinch sesame seeds or as desired
Instructions
Heat your oven to 425 degrees F or 220 degrees C and prepare a baking sheet with foil and a wire rack set over it.
Combine baking powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a bowl and mix well.
Coat the chicken wings evenly by sprinkling half of the baking powder mix over them, tossing, then repeating with the remaining half.
Spread the wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then flip and bake another 20 minutes.
Turn the wings again and cook for about 15 more minutes until golden and crisp.
In a small bowl, whisk honey, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until smooth.
Toss the hot wings in the honey sriracha glaze.
Serve the wings on a platter sprinkled with sesame seeds.
