- 500g bread flour
- 350ml water room temperature
- 100g active sourdough starter
- 10g salt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Mix bread flour water and sourdough starter until combined.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
- Add salt honey sugar and lemon juice; knead until smooth.
- Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until doubled in size about 4 hours.
- Shape the dough into loaves and proof for another 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 230°C bake the loaves for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

- For best results use a kitchen scale for accurate measurements and maintain room temperature water for optimal fermentation
