A creamy and comforting Tuscan sausage pasta that is perfect for a hearty weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • Italian sausage
  • penne pasta
  • garlic
  • sun-dried tomatoes
  • spinach
  • heavy cream
  • parmesan cheese
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook Italian sausage until browned.
  • Add garlic and sun-dried tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese, cook until sauce thickens.
  • Add spinach and cooked pasta to the skillet, mix well.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Serve hot with extra parmesan on top.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use spicy Italian sausage or add fresh basil
