Experience a tender chicken recipe that is both flavorful and easy to make. This healthy chicken marinade uses Greek yogurt to create a quick chicken marinade perfect for a marinated chicken dinner or grilled yogurt chicken.

  • 2 lbs chicken cutlets You can opt for other cuts of chicken such as thighs or breasts Please note cooking times will vary
  • 1/2 cup plain full fat greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 lemon juiced about 1/4 cup
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 5 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped fine
  • 1/2 tsp salt or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp cumin

Instructions

  1. Combine the chicken marinade ingredients in a large bowl and whisk together.
  2. Add the chicken to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour or up to 24 hours.
  4. Allow the chicken to come to room temperature before cooking about 20 minutes.
  5. For pan fry: add 2-3 tbsp olive oil to a large frying pan over medium/high heat then cook chicken on each side for 2-3 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160 °F then rest covered for 5 minutes.
  6. For air fry: preheat air fryer to 375 °F spray basket with cooking spray add chicken in an even layer cook 7 minutes flip and cook another 7 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 °F.
  7. For bake: preheat oven to 425 °F line baking sheet with parchment paper add chicken bake for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 °F.
  8. Garnish with salt slice and serve.
