Ingredients

  • 1 ½2 lb chicken breast (34 chicken breasts) boneless skinless
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cracked pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cayenne pepper optional
  • olive oil/oil spray
  • c BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix paprika garlic powder cracked pepper sea salt and cayenne pepper.
  3. Pat chicken breasts dry and spray or rub with olive oil.
  4. Season the chicken breasts evenly with the spice mixture.
  5. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken breasts then brush BBQ sauce over the top.
  8. Cook for an additional 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Remove chicken and let rest for 5 minutes before serving with extra BBQ sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For extra smoky flavor use smoked paprika
  • Adjust cayenne to taste for spice
  • Letting chicken rest keeps it juicy
