Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 200g each
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp onion granules
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or 1 Tbsp fresh finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Score the surface of the chicken breasts with a sharp knife in a criss-cross pattern without cutting through.
  2. In a shallow bowl, coat the chicken with salt, black pepper, dried or fresh parsley, onion granules, garlic granules, harissa paste, olive oil, and honey, ensuring even coverage.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400F or 200C for 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking oil, then place the chicken breasts scored side down inside.
  5. Cook the chicken in the air fryer for 20 to 25 minutes, turning it over halfway. The chicken is ready when it reaches an internal temperature of 165F or 73C.
  6. Remove the chicken and let it rest on a plate for 5 minutes to keep it juicy before serving or slicing.
