  • 3 pounds bone-in chicken thighs and drumsticks
  • 1 ½ cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Set your air fryer to 360 degrees F to warm it up.
  2. Combine buttermilk and eggs thoroughly in a wide bowl.
  3. Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Coat each piece of chicken first with flour mixture, then dunk it in the buttermilk mix, and coat again with flour, making sure it is completely covered.
  5. Lay the chicken on a baking sheet and spray it well on every side with olive oil spray to ensure even browning.
  6. Place 4 to 5 pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  7. Turn the chicken over carefully and cook an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature hits 165 degrees F.
