  • 10 crackers or 1 cup Ryvita crackers to make up 1 cup or 85 g crumbs
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/21 tsp white wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pulse Ryvita crackers in a food processor to create crumbs or crush them by placing in a ziplock bag and pounding with a rolling pin. Combine the crumbs with sesame seeds, dried basil, dried oregano, sweet paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Cut the chicken into strips and sprinkle with 1 tsp salt. Dip each strip in the beaten egg, then coat with the crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken on the air fryer rack and lightly spray with oil.
  3. Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, then flip the tenders, spray with oil again, and air fry for another 10 minutes or until the juices run clear and chicken is fully cooked.
  4. While the chicken cooks, mix honey, whole grain mustard, mayonnaise, and white wine vinegar in a small bowl. Transfer the sauce to a serving dish.
  5. Serve the crispy chicken tenders alongside the honey mustard sauce.
