  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a small bowl mix together Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mince the fresh garlic and mix it in with the cheese and breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Lightly spray each chicken breast with olive oil spray.
  5. Coat each chicken breast evenly with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  6. Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Air fry the chicken for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
  8. Remove and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray the top of the chicken with olive oil spray before air frying
  • Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking
