  • 2 Tbsps lemon pepper seasoning homemade or store-bought
  • ¼ cup cornstarch See Post for alternatives
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 Tbsps unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups buffalo wing sauce premium
  • 2 Tbsps pure maple syrup or raw honey
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix chicken wings with lemon pepper seasoning smoked paprika and cornstarch until well coated then let rest for 10 to 15 minutes or marinate overnight for better flavor.
  2. Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment and wire rack sprayed to prevent sticking.
  3. Arrange the wings spaced about an inch apart on the rack and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat then whisk in buffalo sauce maple syrup or honey garlic powder parsley and red pepper flakes bringing to a gentle boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer sauce for 2 to 3 minutes stirring occasionally then toss cooked wings in sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve wings immediately with your favorite sides or dips.

Notes

  • For crisp tops, broil 2–3 minutes at the end
