- 1 lb wild-caught shrimp peeled and deveined 1/2 teaspoon EACH salt and black pepper 1 teaspoon EACH smoked paprika garlic powder and chili powder 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon lime zest from 1 lime 2 tablespoons lime juice from that same lime 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 bunch cilantro finely chopped 8 small corn tortillas 1 cup shredded cabbage 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon lime juice 1 teaspoon honey 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a bowl mix salt black pepper smoked paprika garlic powder and chili powder.
- Toss shrimp in the spice mix.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- Add lime zest lime juice and honey to shrimp and toss.
- For slaw mix shredded cabbage mayonnaise lime juice honey and salt.
- Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
- Assemble tacos by layering shrimp slaw and chopped cilantro on tortillas.
- Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
