1 lb wild-caught shrimp peeled and deveined 1/2 teaspoon EACH salt and black pepper 1 teaspoon EACH smoked paprika garlic powder and chili powder 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon lime zest from 1 lime 2 tablespoons lime juice from that same lime 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 bunch cilantro finely chopped 8 small corn tortillas 1 cup shredded cabbage 1/4 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon lime juice 1 teaspoon honey 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
In a bowl mix salt black pepper smoked paprika garlic powder and chili powder.
Toss shrimp in the spice mix.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
Add lime zest lime juice and honey to shrimp and toss.
For slaw mix shredded cabbage mayonnaise lime juice honey and salt.
Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave.
Assemble tacos by layering shrimp slaw and chopped cilantro on tortillas.
Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
