1 pound (454 g) chicken breasts cut in half lengthwise
2 Tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
2 cloves (2 cloves) garlic
1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt or to taste
Black pepper to taste
4 (4) burger buns
Lettuce and other sandwich condiments desired (pickles mayo pepperoncinis etc…)
1/4 cup (60 g) mayonnaise
1/4 cup (60 g) dijon mustard
1/4 cup (85 g) honey or start with less if you want it less sweet then add more if needed
1 Tablespoon (15 ml) apple cider vinegar or white distilled vinegar
1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon (0.75 ml) paprika
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, dijon mustard, honey, vinegar, cayenne pepper, and paprika until smooth; season with salt and black pepper and set aside.
Combine chicken breasts with olive oil, crushed garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a bowl or plastic bag; shake well to coat evenly and let marinate for at least 25 minutes for best flavor.
Heat the grill and cook the chicken breasts on both sides until fully cooked through.
Assemble sandwiches by spreading the honey mustard sauce on the grilled chicken and adding lettuce and any preferred sandwich toppings on toasted buns.
