Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium-sized russet potatoes washed and scrubbed thoroughly
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Butter
  • Sour cream
  • Chives
  • Cheese
  • Bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Scrub them with a brush if necessary.
  2. Dry the potatoes with a clean towel.
  3. Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato about 6-8 times to allow steam to escape during cooking.
  4. In a bowl, mix together olive oil sea salt and black pepper. Brush or spray this mixture generously over the potatoes ensuring they are well-coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F 200°C for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket making sure they are not touching each other for even cooking. Cook for 30-35 minutes flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  7. Check if they’re done by inserting a knife or fork into the thickest part of the potato it should slide in easily. If they need more time continue cooking in 5-minute increments.
  8. Once fully cooked remove the potatoes and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve with your favorite toppings.
