Description
A light, mousse-like snack or dessert made with jello and Greek yogurt. It’s high in protein, low in sugar (if you want it to be), and a ridiculously fun way to enjoy yogurt.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (3 oz) box flavored jello (any flavor you love!)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain, vanilla, or honey)
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip – optional but highly recommended)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the jello powder into 1 cup boiling water. Stir for about 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
- Add 1/2 cup cold water and stir again.
- Let the mixture cool for 5–7 minutes (until it’s warm but not hot).
- Whisk in the Greek yogurt until smooth and well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping (if using) gently until fully mixed.
- Pour into a large container or individual serving dishes.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 2–3 hours, or overnight.
- Top with fruit, granola, or a drizzle of honey if you like. Serve cold!
Notes
- Want extra fluff? Beat the mixture with a hand mixer after it’s partially set (about 30–45 minutes into chilling).
- For a dairy-free version, use plant-based yogurt and vegan jello.
- Double the batch and store in mason jars for snack-prepped goodness all week.
