  • 20 ounces fresh broccoli florets
  • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl with 2 tablespoons water, cover securely, and steam in microwave for 2 minutes. Let it rest covered for another 2 minutes.
  3. Carefully discard any water left in the bowl.
  4. Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, stirring until smooth.
  5. Mix the cheese blend and cooked chicken into the warm broccoli thoroughly.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9 by 13 inch baking dish and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake the casserole for 15 minutes or until bubbly and slightly golden.
