  • 1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs fully cooked
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes freshly made or leftovers
  • 1½ cups brown gravy homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley or green onions optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat your oven to 375°F 190°C and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish lightly.
  2. Evenly spread the mashed potatoes at the bottom and season with salt and pepper if you like.
  3. Arrange the fully cooked meatballs over the mashed potatoes.
  4. Pour the brown gravy all over the meatballs and potatoes to cover them.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top of everything.
  6. Place the dish in the oven and bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if you want and serve warm for a cozy meal.
