A creamy and delicious shrimp casserole that is easy to prepare and perfect for family meals. This dish combines tender shrimp with a flavorful blend of cheeses and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds large shrimp
  • (21-24 count) peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon salt for cooking water
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter plus more to grease the pan
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 ounces shredded medium cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Boil shrimp in salted water with Old Bay seasoning for 2 minutes then drain.
  3. In a bowl combine mayonnaise garlic powder black pepper and cooked shrimp.
  4. Grease a baking dish with butter and transfer shrimp mixture.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheddar and panko bread crumbs over the top.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick add a pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Use fresh shrimp for best flavor
  • Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving
