  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Dill
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Basil
  • 2 Tablespoons Dried Oregano
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Lemon juiced

Instructions

  1. Combine dried dill, dried basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Flatten the chicken breasts evenly by placing them between plastic wrap sheets and gently pounding them with a wooden spoon or mallet.
  3. Coat both sides of the chicken with the seasoning mix, pressing it down lightly.
  4. Warm olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the chicken for 5 minutes per side until browned and crispy.
  5. Lower heat to medium-low and cook until the chicken reaches 165°F internally.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle fresh lemon juice over the chicken.
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • I use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked through a safe temperature before eating
